Vet-to-Vet Exotic Consultations

Your Expert Partner
for Exotic Cases

Does your cat-and-dog clinic occasionally see birds, reptiles, or exotic mammals? We become an extension of your team — providing written, verbal, and virtual consultation support so your patients get specialist-level care without the referral.

Your Clinic Sees Dogs & Cats.
Your Patient Is a Parrot|.

It happens more than you'd think — a long-time client walks in with their beloved cockatoo, bearded dragon, or rabbit. You want to give them the best care, but exotic medicine is a specialty of its own.

That's where Wildside comes in. We provide veterinarian-to-veterinarian exotic animal consultations — written, verbal, and virtual — so your team can treat the case confidently while your patient benefits from specialist-level guidance.

We assist with case medical and surgical management, diagnostic and treatment options and interpretation, and help grow your team's exotic medicine capabilities with every case.

We are partners in veterinary excellence — not a competitor. Your client stays with your clinic; we simply become an expert resource behind the scenes.

How fast do I get a response?

We aim to deliver written consultation reports as promptly as possible. Turnaround times depend on the complexity of the case and current schedule — contact us and we'll give you a realistic timeframe for your specific case.

Do I need to refer my client to you?

No. This is a vet-to-vet consultation service — your client stays with your clinic. We provide expert guidance behind the scenes, and your patient is treated by your team using our recommendations.

What format is the written report delivered in?

Written reports are delivered by email as a structured document. They include differential diagnoses, recommended diagnostics, treatment plans, and prognosis — formatted to add directly to your patient's medical record.

Yes. If your clinic sees exotic patients regularly, we can discuss a custom arrangement with preferred pricing and priority response. Contact us to explore what works for your practice.

We do our best to prioritize urgent submissions. While we are not a primary emergency service, contact us directly and we'll let you know our current availability for time-sensitive cases.
