Here at the Wildside we believe all feathery, fury and scaly pets deserve the best veterinary care!
We are a full service mobile veterinary practice for avian and exotic pets! We also offer consulting visits to private collections, zoos, aquariums and sanctuaries.
We currently serve from Broward County up to St. Lucie County, but we may also do accept appointments in our extended service area (contact us directly if you would like to know if we can travel to your location).
You may be wondering, isn’t mobile services expensive? Actually, you’ll likely be surprised at how affordable mobile care can be! Our exam and travel fees are by nature higher than traditional clinics due to travel time and extra time devoted to each pet, but our other services are typically comparable to other local clinics.
Do you have more questions? You may be able to find most answers in this website! This website is a way to assist our new and existing clients with their pet needs, and we also have many client handouts to help with your avian and exotic animal pet education.
We are sorry, but at this time we do not offer veterinary care to: pigs, small ruminants, venomous reptiles, and camelids.

Not all heroes wear capes—some have claws! 🦥💉 This little sloth was an absolute champ during his blood draw, helping us gather crucial information for another sloth in need at a local zoo. Every patient teaches us something new, and thanks to him, we’re one step closer to better care for his species in captivity. What a legend! 🙌

🐇 Before and after alert!
We used to say there’s no such thing as an “emergency grooming”… well, we were very wrong.
This sweet rabbit was so severely matted that even walking was painful. In cases like this, a full-body shave is medically necessary to relieve discomfort and prevent further issues. While shaving rabbits should only be done when absolutely needed, this little one can now move freely and comfortably again.

Have you seen a rabbit 🐇 abscess before? Well if you don't like "pimple popping videos" do not watch this until the end!
Rabbits 🐇 have a thick pus, that resembles condensed milk (sorry to ruin condensed milk for you).
Because their pus is thick they usually require a surgical procedure to fully remove the abscess or have something called marsupialization.
In this case we were able to fully remove the abscess and he is safely recovering at home.
