Why You Need a Mobile Vet

Is it difficult to get your exotic pet in the car for a trip to the veterinarian's office?
Do you have multiple exotic pets?
Are your pets hard to handle around other animals?
Does a veterinary visit stress your pet out?
If you answered yes to any of those questions, this service is for you!

On top of making veterinary care more accessible to your pet, when working with exotic species, observing them in their enclosure and evaluating their husbandry is of extreme importance to their overall health. During your visit we will give you gold standard husbandry advice in order to improve their quality of life and increase their longevity.

There are multiple species that can be challenging to take to a regular stationary veterinary clinic. The mobile veterinary service takes the inconvenience away! We have two mobile units — one for regular appointments and wellness, and a larger unit for surgeries and more elaborate procedures.

Species we do NOT offer care for at this time: Pigs · Venomous reptiles · Small ruminants · Camelids

During your visit a written treatment plan will be given and a deposit is required before we move forward with any diagnostics, procedures, or treatments. The balance is due upon completion.

If Mobile Care Is Not an Option

Stationary Veterinary Care

Regular clinic days at fixed locations across South Florida — affordable, accessible, expert exotic care.

How It Works

Our Stationary Days

On our stationary clinic days, we set up at a fixed location and see multiple clients throughout the day. Because the mobile fee is divided among all clients attending that day, this makes care significantly more affordable than a dedicated house call.

$45–65
Shared mobile fee per visit

On stationary days, the mobile travel cost is split among all clients — making it our most affordable in-person option.

Consulting Services

Specialized at-home veterinary consulting for private collections, zoos, aquariums, and sanctuaries — built around your facility's unique needs.

About This Service

Veterinary Consulting

We offer a Veterinary Consulting Service exclusively for private collections, zoos, aquariums, and sanctuaries. The service consists of offering in-home veterinary care and evaluating the husbandry of avian and exotic species. The service is performed in person at the client's facility — physical exams and husbandry evaluations are included.

This service is unique to each client and is built to assist with the client's specific needs.

Why do you need a veterinary consulting service?
Specialized at-home care is hard to find — well, not anymore! When working with exotic species, observing them in their enclosure and evaluating their husbandry is of extreme importance to their overall health, and can help improve their quality of life and increase their longevity.
The Process

How Does It Work?

1
30-Minute Virtual Meeting — $55

We start by scheduling an online 30-minute meeting to better understand your needs. During this meeting we will put together a plan prior to the first in-person visit.

2
Schedule Your First Visit

After the virtual meeting we schedule the first in-person visit. A deposit equal to the mobile fee + 1 hour of visit time is collected at booking and will be applied toward your final invoice. These visits are non refundable.

3
Ongoing Visits — Tailored to Your Needs

The frequency and duration of visits will differ depending on your facility's needs. We build the schedule around what works best for you.

What's Included in the Hourly Rate?

Included

  • Physical examinations (preventative, non-urgent sick animals, rechecks)
  • Treatment plan & estimate when needed
  • Facility walk-around — diet, enclosures & husbandry evaluation
  • Quality of life discussions

Not Included

  • Procedures & sedation/anesthesia
  • Euthanasia
